Deeply rooted in the Cayman Islands
The Hash team is made up of individuals deeply rooted in the Cayman Islands, including local directors, the chair of the Blockchain Association of the Cayman Islands (BACI), and operators who have worked closely with the regulator. Our founder has chaired BACI since 2018 and has taken part in every major industry consultation in that period, meeting regularly with CIMA and the Ministry of Financial Services, while one of our team is among the authors of the original Cayman VASP legislation. This is not a marketing claim. It is the structural reason we can read a VASP application accurately and engage with the regulator from a position of genuine standing.
A detailed process and practical knowledge
We have built out a detailed internal process to make sure the right governance actions are always taken, while keeping it practical and fitted to each client rather than reduced to box-ticking. CIMA has been explicit that VASP directors need demonstrable custody experience, and we meet that bar directly, having co-authored and previously chaired the CCSS (Cryptocurrency Security Standard).
